6263/5 Original or Replacement Dial

How to tell if your dial is a Rolex original or replacement dial.

Some Daytonas were born without the red lettering in the dial. Later the lettering was added to commemorate the races in Daytona Beach Florida.

The original dials were characterized by large red lettering with wide spacing as shown on a couple of dials below.

Note also the flat top on the "A"s.
